How does SHR hair removal work?

Unlike IPL, SHR relies on the effect of multiple light pulses that are delivered in rapid succession at a lower energy level. The device is glided over the skin, (“In-Motion”) and the hair’s melanin and the stem cells’ tissue are slowly heated over a longer period of time (up to 90 seconds). Due to a thermal reaction, the nutrient cells of the hair root are denatured and obliterated.

Thanks to the SHR laser, dark blond, grey hair and fine hairs can be permanently removed.

Why is theSAPPHIRE 3MAX faster/better than conventional lasers?

With conventional SHR lasers we are instructed to reach the hair in the growth phase (approx. 20 – 30%). However, since the cycle of growth differs from person to person, a minimum of 15-20 treatments must be expected.

With the extra-strong SAPPHIRE 3Max laser, additional hairs in the telogen phase can be treated more effectively thanks to the three wavelengths, reaching deeper-lying hairs which are realigning themselves for growth, significantly reducing the normal treatment time.
